BKT and the Environment
Apart from the modern and practically equipped workplaces, BKT also gives priority to its responsibility towards the environment. Thus, for instance, the heating requirements of the entire building premises are met through a CO2 neutral wood-chip heating.
Heat recovery: Any lost heat is returned to the heating circuit througt a heat exchanger during burn-in checks.
Similary, material separation is also carried out consistently.
RoHS-compliance is accorded priority in BKT.

Company building
BKT Elektromechanik Entwicklungs- und Produktions GmbH was founded in Munich in 1997.
In 2005, the company moved into a new building with a usable space of 1200m2 close to Munich.

- Relocation to Hohenbrunn (Extended the production area by 400m²)
- Developments:
- Medium-frequency generator for capacitive excitation of a CO2 laser for high power densities with integrated pulse control and linear control
- Miniaturisation of a high-frequency sender for acousto-optical modulators for processing the laser material
- Microprocessor control for industrial laser application
