Fast power measurement in the infrared range
Bkt is offering a series of fast and wideband power sensors which can pick up sequences in the nanosecond range. This intention is for setting and measuring purposes as well as for process monitoring of laser pulse settings. Shortest events of the laser pulse can be displayed and evaluated. The product line LPMx offers a precise pulse shape view over a wide wavelength range. Measurements from the near to the middle infrared range are possible. All detectors are available with an internal scalable pre-amplifier and as a fully integrated measuring head with serial as well analogue interface output. The measuring heads have a wide operating voltage range from 12 to 24 V and provide a calibrated and fast power equivalent voltage signal with 0-5 or 0 - 10 V. The housing is equipped with heat exchanger for fluid cooling for higher continuous laser power absorption. The available detectors are graded in sensitivity and are particularly suitable for pulse analyses in the high power range. Laser power can be measured as a mean power as well shapes in the nanosecond duration.
